About the Client
The Columbus Literacy Council is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to increasing the level of functional literacy of adults reading below an 8th grade level through teaching the English language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
The Council was founded by Church Women United in 1970 and formally established as a non-profit educational corporation in 1975. They required an online headquarters to promote their cause, motivate participants, encourage donations, and provide interactive opportunities for adult literacy services.
At Striking Idea, we provided The Columbus Literacy Council with a comprehensible online platform to accomplish all of their charity needs. Using the same common sense model of the The Columbus Literacy Council and vibrant imagery, Striking Idea created a sensible website that focuses on awareness, the acquisition of donations, and the opportunities to get involved.
